A card won’t scan
Hold the phone a little further away: most cards are printed small, and the camera needs some distance to focus. If the code is damaged or worn, tap Enter manually in the scanner and type the number printed under it.
The till can’t read the screen
Open the card and make sure the brightness is up — that’s the sun button at the bottom of the screen. Some older laser scanners can’t read screens at all; in that case, read out the number printed under the barcode.
Edit or delete a card
Touch and hold a card in the list for Edit, Delete and Move to top. In an open card, the ⋯ menu has Edit card and Delete card.
Move your cards to a new device
Turn on iCloud sync in Settings. On a new iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple ID, the app offers to restore your cards the first time it opens. You can also save all your cards to a file with Export cards.
Add a card to Apple Wallet
Open the card, tap ⋯ and choose Add to Apple Wallet. This needs an internet connection, because the pass has to be signed.
Share a card
Open the card, tap ⋯ and choose Share card. The message carries a picture of the barcode, the number and type, and a link that opens the card in CardCarry — or shows the barcode in a browser for someone without the app.
Put a card on a widget
Add the CardCarry widget to the Home Screen or the Lock Screen. Show in widget, in a card’s ⋯ menu, puts that card on your widgets, except one set to another card with Edit Widget. You can also pick a card right on the widget.
Found a bug
Say what happened, on which iPhone or iPad and which version of iOS. A screenshot helps more than a description.
